  1. For what it’s worth….
This league was the foundation of box lacrosse growth as it stands today with at last count 21 countries being represented next Sept in BC at the World Box Lacrosse championships. People associated with this league were also instrumental in the field game that in Canada was really only of casual interest but very strong in the USA. Two very different ways to play the game of lacrosse. The 1978 Canadian Team win in Stockport England changed a lot of things in lacrosse in a very signifigant way. Today with over 40 countries competing every four years in the World Field Chanpionships and over 20 in the World Box Championships much gratitude must go to the people along the way who set the stage playing, coaching, managing and teaching the game around the world. Congratulations to Dave and Steve for their dedicated efforts to produce this site.
